The Association accomplishes its mission as a force for social change through: Advocacy, Prevention, Information and Referral, Public Education, and your help. Provides free information on over 200 mental health topics including bipolar disorder, depression, bereavement, post-traumatic stress disorder and warning signs of mental illness. They also provide referrals to local mental health services and distribute a free national directory of local mental health associations and offers low-cost materials.  Offers general information on mental health problems and legislative alerts.
